Small Intimate Weddings, Family Celebrations, Private Functions

Glengariff is ideally located to provide a special "country-touch" setting for small intimate weddings for up to 60 people, or casual "mingle with finger food" occasions for 70-80. We are happy to hire a marquee on your behalf to cater for larger weddings.

We offer use of the bridal suite for the bride and maids to dress in, and the bridal couple to stay on their wedding night after the wedding, as part of our venue hire.

The spacious conservatory and adjoining reception room open out onto the verandahs and gardens. The oval roserie has been especially designed for the wedding ceremony, and is filled with beautiful old-fashioned roses. Large market umbrellas and outdoor seating complete the picture to provide a special atmosphere for a garden wedding. Croquet and petanque is available for guests in the garden.

We will arrange garden flowers throughout the house for your wedding. We will dress the bridal table in white and gold muslin and the tables for the guests with damask tablecloths.

Catering and Refreshments

Catering for your wedding is by professional caterers, who provide crockery and cutlery as part of the catering cost. An individual menu is prepared especially for you.

Alcoholic beverages served at your wedding may be either under a caterer's off licence or special licence (which we will arrange on your behalf).  Supplies will be delivered to us chilled on the day of your wedding.  We will make a delicious non-alcoholic punch to serve your guests.

Glengariff is a popular choice for special 70th Birthday parties - sometimes planned as a complete surprise by the rest of the family - and we particularly enjoy helping you make these small intimate celebrations a day to remember.
